Cumberland City Council has successfully completed a series of major infrastructure upgrades aimed at improving roads, drainage, and essential public services in Merrylands. The project included major upgrades to Merrylands Road, between Treves Street and Pitt Street, Addlestone Road, between Merrylands Road and Newman Street, CBD Main Lane, Dressler Court, McLeod Road and Neil Street, with hundreds of workers dedicated to these important improvements.
